bought 2 of these to hang in our back stairwell. We have an old victorian home but its been renovated to bring it up to date. The back stairwell leads to the back exterior door and there is nothing about this hall and stairs except these light fixtures! They get tons of compliments because of their uniqueness. Very easy installation if you have any experience with electrical, I hung these up myself. Only thing I would change is for it to take a standard bulb, It takes a candelabra type light but for our use, it wasn't a big deal as it gives off enough light to illuminate the stairs and we have 2 of them, one at the top end and one at the bottom end of the stairs. I have seen this exact fixture on amazon for less money, but now its too late for me to return it, so I say shop around if you love this fixture because you can get it cheaper...whether you get this one from this company or you find it cheaper, its a great find!
