I am using them in a breezeway that is enclosed, connecting the garage to the house. Love they way they look. I have had them for a few months.
It is a unique light with a warm glow. I like the frosted glass so you don't see a bare bulb. It is a modern touch but fits with a traditional style. We hung the light above the kitchen sink. It reflects off the wall casting an interesting, faceted glow. It is a great size. Our kitchen is painted gray with white cabinets, black and silver granite, stainless appliances so the color of this light compliments the room well.
Love this Moravian Star pendant lamp! I got the 12" and it is perfect for a window display. It was a bit tricky to figure out where it opens to put the bulb (you have to use the smaller refrigerator size bulbs), but that's actually a good thing because it blends in. Note that the cord isn't wrapped in fabric, which I think would look much nicer and higher quality. But otherwise, I recommend.

This is such a beautiful light! I've wanted one of these for a long time but always thought they were too expensive. This one is affordable and so pretty! It is three pounds, so be sure you have a sturdy place to mount it.

This is a beautiful star! The textured glass is an excellent feature softening all the lines that show on clear glass (which is also beautiful- depends on your style) the only thing is It is a small pendant though - I personally couldn't use it over the entryway like the picture because the 12 in is just not big enough to command a high space (for any light), but I would definitely recommend it for a stunning look over a kitchen island, or a table, or a bar or in a smaller hallway.
