I was looking for a new lighting fixture for my spare bedroom that was timeless, and would fit well with my aesthetic that blends classic and contemporary style. It is hard to pick the right size for a centered ceiling fixture. This goes beyond the design of a classic schoolhouse lighting fixture and is the perfect size. Though I do not sleep in the spare, I find myself walking in often to admire the light.
These are the perfect MCM vibe pendants! The gold is the brushed, and not too yellow. I love that the bulb is completely enclosed, so no worries about getting dusty inside.
This is a very pretty light fixture and installation was easy, however once I got it up I realized the glass was warped and not symmetrical. I was sent a replacement that is very slightly off but not really noticeable so I’ll probably keep it.
Very cute but much larger than I thought it would be. Based on the measurements it is definately larger than it says. It works for my space but I would have preferred smaller for a small entry.

Beautiful! It’s much larger than I anticipated, so I haven’t hung it yet. But the quality is really nice, and the globe is beautiful. I might have to change where I want to put it, but can’t decide. It’s solid quality - I love the ropy hanger, instead of medal for some reason. Love the victorian to early 20th century feel of it! Do recommend!
I was very surprised to see this CLAXY Modern Gold Pendant Light ETL listed. I was impressed with it the moment I laid eyes on it. I think this is a very good quality lighting fixture. It accepts a standard sized E-26 lamp socket for LED, incandescent or even CFL if you still have some of those around. The bulb is fully enclosed in the shade which is held in place with set screws. The shade is a heavy milk glass of good quality. This is a show piece but not flashy. Given the width of this shade, I don't think it's good option for close to the wall or near a cabinet. However, over a counter island, hallway or even as a regular fixture in a room, I think you'll be pleased with it. When changing the bulb, care should be taken when removing the shade and loosening the set screws. I do believe this is something you will enjoy lighting your home.
