The light looks great and was able to use xenon candelabra bulbs for brighter dimmable light. The electrician had to replace the mounting parts as they did not fit the standard US junction box. The mounting screw holes did not line up, but everything else works great. The milk glass is also nicer than I expected for the price.

Unfortunately, it was my fault that this product didn’t work for me. I am redoing one of our bathrooms and have a very particular space with snug dimensions that I can put the vanity lights. This would have been perfect, if it weren’t for the lightbulbs in this unit being a maximum of 40 watts and needing to be the small size that you would get for a chandelier. Since this was supposed to go in a bathroom where this is the only source of light, the lighting just isn’t enough for adequately illuminating the space. I am hopeful that I will be able to find a use for it in the hallway closet because it doesn’t require the same scope of lighting that we need in the bathroom. If you are looking for something that is going to give a good amount of light, I would suggest a sconce with higher wattage capacity and accommodations for a standard size bulb. It was my fault entirely for not reading the product listing as thoroughly as I should have but I’ve never encountered ordering a light that doesn’t have a standard bulb attachment so it seemed natural that this would have one as well. The light itself works fine but it doesn’t give off the illumination needed for restrooms that are frequently used for applying makeup or completing hygiene tasks. Maybe it would work okay for a powder room but I will only be using it for supplemental lighting in one of our hallway closets. I did take away one star because of the diminished light capacity but overall, it’s a good wall sconce that is compact and felt durable. It’s completely made of metal and glass and doesn’t have any plastic pieces that could easily break off during installation or throughout use. It only had a couple pieces that you had to connect and then install. It took me about 10 minutes to get it out together and up on the wall (20 minutes total with assembly, installation, testing, and ultimately dismounting it and disassembling to put it back in the box). I would have taken pictures but our power went out and I needed to save my battery. I can attest that it’s easy enough to disassemble in the dark, lol. Also, keep in mind that you will get all lighting projected horizontally from the shades so if you’re like me and have a cupboard next to your medicine cabinet/vanity, it significantly decreases the scope of light that you will get as well.
