I really do like this light. But my wife doesn't like how high it is mounted. We mounted it above our kitchen sink and the beauty of the bronze base can't be appreciated because of how high it mounts. Granted, if you're mounting it somewhere else that it's base is not blocked, I'm sure it would certainly suffice. But I'm writing this review based on the area we got it for. Super easy to install. I really like the look of it. With the frosted cover, it throws of a nice soft light that is very pleasing to the eyes.
I do not appreciate modern lines and fixtures. This has the curves and an almost historic look. It’s in my mudroom and I really like it. (And it’s REALLY hard to photograph a light fixture!)
Very attractive fixture! It's very well made and you can feel the quality. I has the perfect spot for it but the previous owner had put a fixture in the wrong place and didn't even bother to use a junction box! I decided to do it the right way and went through the motions of getting a junction box and getting the ceiling prepped. Once all that rigamarole was dealt with, the installation was a breeze. Everything is included except for the light bulb. It's a very attractive fixture with clean lines yet has a slightly vintage look. The glass is good quality and disperses the light well. This is a very nice fixture.
