Classic school house / vintage look. Husband said it was easy to install, and base hits flush with the ceiling. There is one tiny flaw in the milk glass globe, but maybe that comes with the territory. Too minor of a defect to disassemble and return. I like the way it looks in our upstairs hallway/top of the stairs.
We originally got one for our playroom, and I liked it so much that I ordered two more. One for our laundry room and one for our office. They are a great size for a small to medium room and the look is timeless. I have soft white lightbulbs in my office fixture and soft yellow lightbulbs in the playroom fixture and love both.
The milk glass is perfect for our English cottage style home. The gold hardware is more “aged” in color and not yellow or brass-y which went well with our other hardware around the house. Appears to be made with good quality.
Love this light however it needed a bit of an adjustment to fit in our existing light opening.
My entryway looks great with this new light installed in it. I was looking for a light that hung down a little lower than a dome light but not as low as a small chandelier would and this light has been a perfect fit for my home. Out of the box, it was very well packaged and no damage was on the light itself at all. The entire light was covered with styrofoam and there was no wiggle room between it and the box so it did not seem like it had been shaken around in transport. The instructions on how to assemble and install the light were right on the top so I didn't miss them. Installing the light was very easy not not out of the ordinary and with no special tools being needed I had my new light up in under 15 minutes. I was happily suprised with how the metal on the light perfectly matches the rest of my fixtures and the color coat is even with no slight variations.
