We are sooo happy with how this light fixture has worked out! This hanging globe was the perfect replacement to update an ugly, pull-chain light fixture over the kitchen sink of our old mill house. We put it in and then added a "DEWENWILS Remote Control Light Bulb Socket, Wireless Light Switch for Pull Chain Light Fixture" before screwing an Edison light bulb into the globe. The globe is long enough to accommodate both the remote extension and the bulb and still look amazing. Now, there is no ugly pull chain because the On/Off switch remote plate is screwed into wall by the kitchen sink's garbage disposal and we didn't have to hire an electrician or add any new electrical work to create better and more functional lighting above the sink area.
