I had a weird ceiling situation I needed a flush light for and I thought this might be kinda funky. I'm not sure now whether I think it is cool... or dowdy... but, styling aside it's a fine enough lamp. I will say, and I have put up a few, this was a difficult install. Prepare for frustration with getting it flush, while still being able to get the screws through.
look really nice up, blended well with other lights bought
We installed this ourselves - we replaced a builder grade hallway light with this one. It is a 2 person job and it took about 2 hours. It would have taken less but we had a little difficulty fitting the fixture through the screws to fit flush against the ceiling - this step is done 'blind' and we struggled a little. But, once up, it looks great in the spot. We used 2 traditional 40 watt soft white frosted bulbs. There is plenty of light in the hallway coming from this fixture.
Just got it. Looks great. Cannot wait to get it up.
it adds a nice touch to my boring hallway. When installing, it's best to have 2 people working on this: 1 to hold the light, and the other to connect the wiring. i learned that the hard way.
