Great lamp. For some standard bulbs you have to remove the metal collar that goes around the glass, and then replace it once the bulb is in. This seems a design flaw, but otherwise great lamp.
I got the hardwire install. I like the warm tone and the glass is frosted with distributes the light nicely. I love the look. We used it like a “swag light” and used the excess cord to hang on the hook that was already there in our house.
