This light is PERFECT for our space. I'm so happy with it.We remodeled our basement bathroom five years ago. In it, there is this weird little alcove under the stairs. When we put in a pocket door, we didn't think to move the light on the ceiling. Then, when everything was all back together, we found that the spot for a light there was *right* next to the wall. Over the years, I have bought and returned more lights of various types than I can even remember. Nothing fit there. When I saw this light, I almost scrolled right past it. After all, what need did I have for a pendant light? Then I looked closely at the shape and the dimensions. It actually just might fit in my impossible space!My husband installed it soon after it arrived. He did have some challenges. He was able to get it up there with no real problems, but he did say it was a bit confusing. The end result was worth it, though.For our space, we didn't need the dangly cord so we cut all of it off. If I didn't know this light had started out as a pendant light, I might assume it was always intended to be a semi-flush mount. It looks great that way in the "impossible" spot under our stairs.I'm so thrilled with this light! Highly recommend.
