I picked up this mini pendant light in the gold finish with the matte milk glass shade because I wanted something simple and clean-looking that wouldn’t overpower the space. The style is listed as industrial, but to me it leans more “modern simple” because of the smooth frosted glass.First impression: it’s a really nice looking small pendant. The gold color looks clean and not cheap, and the milk glass shade gives off a softer light instead of blasting your eyes. If you’re putting it over a sink, in a kitchen nook, or even in an office corner, it works well without being too much.The built-in LED is 3000K warm white and it gives a cozy tone that looks good in the evening. It’s not that harsh blue-white light that makes everything look sterile. The brightness is advertised as 480 lumens, and I’d say that feels accurate for a small area or accent lighting.What I liked: • Soft, diffused lighting (the milk glass shade helps cut glare) • Modern and simple look, and the gold finish makes it feel a little more upgraded • Great for small spaces where you don’t want a huge fixture hanging down • The hanging rope is adjustable, so you can change the drop height depending on your ceilingWhat I didn’t love / things to know:The biggest thing is just the size. The shade is only about 5 inches wide, so this is truly a mini pendant. It’s perfect if you’re doing one in a small spot, but if you’re thinking “kitchen island lighting,” you’ll probably need multiple pendants to get the look and the light coverage you want.Also, since it’s hardwired, it’s not something you just plug in and go. If you aren’t comfortable with electrical work, I definitely agree that professional installation is the safest move.Overall:If you want a small, clean pendant with a warm glow and a simple modern style, this is a good choice. It looks nice, gives soft lighting, and doesn’t take up a ton of visual space. Just don’t expect it to light up a whole kitchen by itself because it’s definitely on the small side.I’d recommend it for: over a sink, small dining area, hallway corner, bedside pendant, or office lighting.Not the best for: using as your only light source over a big island unless you buy a few.

I installed this light in my entryway. It was easy to install and the brass finish goes well with my decor. The LED light is a plus. The only thing that bothers me is the silver colored cord. It would look better if the cord were gold in color. I would recommend this light fixture.

This light is pretty and it is an LED so no worries with bulbs. I like that the length of the wiring allows for it to hang above an island or bar even with taller ceilings. The glass globe is pretty and the metal is gold and looks really nice. What I don’t like is that it definitely does not look like or feel like milk glass. This is a white globe, not a milk glass globe. The finish on the outside is almost sandy feeling, not the super glossy feel of milk glass. The light is small. The cording is coated in a clear finish but doesn’t have metal that you would expect for this price. I am disappointed in this fixture for two reasons: 1. The glass is described as milk glass and it isn’t. 2. The price. For $94, you should get 3 of these.
