The shade is much smaller than expected and the wicker quality isn't the greatest. The cable is pretty solid, though. I'm probably just going to toss the shade and use the cable.
I really like this lamp because I can use it wherever light is needed so easily. I feel like every lamp should be made to hang off of something like this because this is so convenient lol. I’m actually using it now for in my garage to add some extra light in there, but I was Using it in the basement for a little bit when I first got it - because it is so versatile you just plug it in and hang it off of anything and it works and it’s great so I definitely recommend this 100% to everyone. It shines a good bit of light wherever you need it and it’s made well, it’s really not what you think of when you think of a paper shade. This is actually very nice and sturdy, and would go with many different decors in many different settings.
I needed more light in my bedroom. I read a lot, but my bedroom was too dark, so it hasn't been an idealt reading spot. My room is also small so I don't have room for lamps. This is the perfect solution! I hung this above my bed, and now I get perfect lighting to read before bedtime. It is also ridiculously easy to install. I am terrible at DIY stuff, but I had this installed within 10-15 minutes of getting it. It's really that easy. The cord is long too, so you can install this almost anywhere that has a plug-in within a couple of feet. Finally, this looks really pretty. The lampshade is white with a blueish-gray stripe. The cord is wrapped and comes with everything you need to pin back. This is a well-made and easy-to-install lighting solution that is perfect for anywhere that needs more lighting!
I was initially hesitant to order this light because the description mentioned a “paper cord” shade, which made me think it might be too fragile. I actually passed over it the first time I saw the listing. But after taking a closer look, I suspected that might’ve been simply a description translation issue, and I’m so glad I gave it a chance! There is noting about this light that feels or looks like paper. This lamp is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a plug-in swag-style light for a bedroom that doesn’t have any built-in lighting, and this one exceeded my expectations. It gives the needed overhead light the room was originally missing with just table lamps. The design has a great boho vibe with muted blue and off-white tones that blend beautifully with my décor. It also comes with three ceiling hooks, which will make it easy to hang exactly where I need it. I’m very happy with this light.
We live in a small farm house. There has never been a light over our dining room table. This seemed like it might be a viable option. The installation was super easy. I used my handy Dewalt to drill a couple holes for the hook to screw into. Screwed in the hooks, strung the chord across them plugged it in, and now we have light. the directions were easy to follow, and the installation took less than thirty minutes.
