I needed a light for my work from home desk, however, I don’t have a lot of desk space to give up. This was a good solution to that problem.Hanging this was simple. I hung a plant hook to the ceiling and looped the cord around to hang the lamp.It hangs approximately 2 feet above my work desk. It has improved the ambience of the area; the shade and the large turn switch really give it a retro look and an appealing appearance.It’s well put together and solid. It’s the perfect size for this application, and the functionality is well suited to my purpose.On top of this, it’s a great value for the money. I’m happy with this lamp, and would definitely recommend.
I picked up this barn pendant light and it has a nice farmhouse style look. The design fits well with that industrial rustic aesthetic that's popular right now. It looks good hanging in my space.One thing to know is it doesn't include a bulb, but that's fine. You'll need to grab one separately. I went with an Edison style bulb and it looks great with the fixture. The vintage filament bulb really complements it.The light provides good illumination. It's bright enough to work as functional lighting and not just decoration. You're actually getting usable light from it.Even though it's lightweight, it feels well made. The construction quality is solid and I think it's going to last. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. The finish looks good and everything is put together nicely.This is a good pendant light. If you're going for that farmhouse or industrial look, this is worth grabbing.

These kits do not come with lights. They are exactly what I was looking for like a barn light appearance for my art studio. I added Edison bare bulbs for that rustic look.
Easy install, sturdy lightweight design. Adds a touch of color and style to a rather bland part of our home, replacing a plastic generic led recessed light. I used an Edison type led bulb to finish off the look. Wife is very happy with the end results
