This is a beautiful light and looks better in person. I just installed it tonight and it was a breeze. Very easy to install and it looks beautiful. Instant upgrade to our entry.
Wasn't sure where this was going when I ordered it but I had to have it - it is just that gorgeous. Turns out we need to replace a light on our second floor landing so this will have a home after all. It very much suits the style of our 1927 transitional house. Don't like the gold very much so sanded the base down and sprayed a bronze color instead. Will install tomorrow when the paint has had time to cure.
We have the smallest walk-in closet and it had the worst lighting. The final straw was when I looked down the other day and realized I was wearing one olive green sock and one dark grey. We have a vintage vibe in our house and this fixture fits right in! The ribbed shade elevates it from regular schoolhouse to posh boarding school. In all seriousness, though, it is a really elegant-looking fixture. It was easy to change out and took maybe 20 minutes (it would have been faster if the old bracket wasn't such a pain to remove). All of the hardware we needed, plus some, was included. The natural components are nice and sturdy, and the shade is a good weight without being too thick. It's also consistent in appearance and looks high-end. Compared to what I looked at on Wayfair and Lampsdotcom, the price seems on-point, too. I will try to get some photos of it at night and add them to this review.
A nice modern light to replace the boring builders light in a hallway. Good for a hall or similar spot. Maybe even a closet
