I removed the old and heavy fixture in 5 minutes... I had this new one up in 5 minutes. The lighting is bright... even during the mid-afternoon... the Light Temp is fixed at 4,000, but that is what I prefer anyway... It looks great in my kitchen. The bracket comes attached to the light body when you get it. So Remove it by loosening the two Philips head screws just a little, then rotate to unlock the base from the mounting bracket... a bayonet locking structure. Get the bracket mounted... all hardware included. Make sure hot (usually black) are wire nutted together and the same for neutral (usually white.) You have a bare wire attached to the light's mounting bracket... So attach that to your ground ( usually green or bare.) Then line up the holding screws on the body to the bayonet structures... twist to lock and gently screw down on the holding screws... That's it!!! Oh..... I think you would know to shut off the breaker before doing any of this.... BUT.......... I gotta say it. LOL It's a great little light and puts out all the lighting that I need for that part of the kitchen...
