I don't have an island but I do have a galley style kitchen with vaulted (sloped) ceilings so I wanted something that would evenly light the entire length of my kitchen but it also had to be sloped ceiling compatible and the length it hung from the ceiling had to be adjustable to ensure it would hang the correct height from the center of my ceiling in kitchen which is higher than a typical ceiling. 5 years after installing this fixture and I still completely adore it. It looks amazing. My brother installed it for me and he had it done in less than the time it took to unbox it! It cleans easily, has not shown a single tiny spot of wear and functions as it did the day it was installed. I LOVE LOVE LIVE THIS LIGHT!!! Highly recommend it!!!

The light looks as I expected, blends in with my new kitchen, quality is on par for the price. It hangs a bit crooked but I guess that is to be expected with the way it mounts. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Since I took the photo I have replaced the bulbs with the recommended size and it looks better because the bulbs do not hang below the globes.

This pendant chandelier is great! We wanted something for above our kitchen island and above our dining room table. This light is the perfect size, it makes a statement but isn't big enough to be in the way. The frosted glass on the pendants adds a nice touch. I bought this both in the nickel finish (kitchen) and black finish (dining room). it comes with three different rods so you can play with the height, and was easy to assemble (took two of us). I appreciate the packaging coming with a set of gloves to handle the pendants, was helpful and thoughtful! Would buy this again in a heart beat, loved the price compared to other sites and it's high quality.
Installed above our pub table in the dining room. Got the Philips Hue bulbs in it, so can change the colors and the light fixtures accent the light colors very nicely. Very happy with it. You should have seen the light fixture that came with the house when we bought it. Yeeesh it was ugly. This changed the whole vibe of the room. It comes with the option of short or longer metal rods if you want more or less distance from the ceiling for multiple applications.
This light fixture was a pain to install!! The instructions were awful, the wires barely fit through the pole. Price was fine but I would have rather spend more money on an easier to install light feature. Standard size bulbs protrude out so I had to do a special order for 3" long bulbs. Does it look like the image on yes, would I buy it again no.
Beautiful
It is a lovely fixture - once you get it up. Make sure where you are installing is the right size for this VERY SMALL canopy. We had to do some big adjustments. The directions are in "pictures" - which is fine, but the one picture where the wires all connect is too small to really decipher!
The installation directions were easy to follow. The installation was not difficult. The finished product is attractive and creates a well lit area.
We didn't install yet so I didn't review this but it's exactly as pictured, a great quality lightning for over our island
These lights are over my bar. Changing out your lights can make an area look very different.

They are threaded, but not sure what size. I’d look bit they are 17 feet up!
Is light suitable to hang from an angled ceiling?
I am not sure. It should work.
does it have a pull cord, or switch or can it only be operated by a light switch?
I don't know, It was bought for someone else. I think it had to be wired in and used by a light switch. Sorry, I could not be of more help.

The quality was great! I was a bit worried about not being able to find a bulb but it was mo problem. Home depot has them. They have to be the narrow long bulb in order for it to fit. We put the light in the hallway and it lights it up nicely.
Great purchase even tho the lights were a bit larger than I expected. Still loved the overall bathroom remodel.
Looks more expensive than it is. I need better bulbs but it is dimmable and beautiful . Looks great with but doesn’t match exactly delta champagne bronze
