I ordered this for my hallway and had my handyman come and change the base from my old light. I had to run to the store and buy a bulb, but it was easy to find one. Installing the bulb was a snap, but getting the fixture attached was a bit difficult; instead of turning the holding screws by hand, I had to hold it in place until someone could bring me a Philips screwdriver to turn them. The fixture will not attach without this.That being said, this is a beautiful fixture. It emits a great deal of light, and feels very sturdy. It isn’t too large for the space and it doesn’t feel too heavy; I’m not worried about it crashing down.I have the seeded glass option to help camouflage the lightbulb and I could not be happier with my purchase.

Love the design. Changing bulbs is easier than I would have thought. It came with a small dark mark within the glass but it’s not noticeable once it’s mounted.I live in an area that was settled by the Moravians so we have these star fixtures everywhere- except they’re normally three times the price of what I paid for this. Dims nicely and throws a beautiful design on the ceiling. Very happy with the purchase.
Love this light! It's such a unique piece in my dining room. Pretty straight forward to install, but a second person is helpful to hold the light up while you install. It's very heavy.
I wanted a cute light to illuminate my kitchen sink area effectively. Preferably something my birds couldn't land on and chew. It fulfills all those purposes. My husband removed the old and and installed this one within about an hour. It's got a little door to change of the light bulb which doesn't stand out, which is very nice for decorative purposes, so make sure you figure out and make note of where it is before you install it, it will make bulb changes easier in the future.
We used this over a covered porch , looks beautiful! I wish there was a bigger size this is the 12 inch, and it’s my favorite light fixture!
We love this! As you can see in my photos, we replaced the very old and outdated fixture out in our back patio area. It's super cute!The only downside is the spot to put in the bulb is a little funky and a weird/hard angle.

5 stars with a bit of an asterisk…it seemed very well made and I loved the look of it but the box had been dropped and the glass was broken so we had to return. I just don’t appreciate when reviews give a poor star rating for a product being damaged. Accidents happen and a replacement can be sent so I’m just basing the review on the look and quality of the actual product not an accident during shipping.
We like them so much that we bought 4 total. We replaced the existing fixtures with these to match. SO GLAD WE DID! We have the smaller one over the kitchen sink, and the 3 larger ones for the hallways.

It’s a bulb you can get at any Menards or Home Depot. It’s about $4. Nothing special. I had no problem finding mine. About 4” long and recpitcal is the same as any.
How do you open the Moravian star to change the light bulb?
One of the points is on a hinge and lifts open.
Can this be used outside in a covered porch?
I don't see why not. However it is not rated for outdoor use and it only takes a 40 watt bulb.

Hi. Thanks for your question. The light can be used in covered locations and it cannot be exposed to direct water, rain, and snow since they are NOT damp-rated. If your porch is damp and is not covered, our advice is maybe you should choose a light fixture that is damp-rated and is suitable for outdoor use for the sake of your safety.

Hello. Thanks for your question. The light fixture cannot be exposed to direct water, rain, and snow since they are NOT damp-rated. Our advice is maybe you should choose a light fixture that is damp-rated or the sake of your safety.
The quality was great! I was a bit worried about not being able to find a bulb but it was mo problem. Home depot has them. They have to be the narrow long bulb in order for it to fit. We put the light in the hallway and it lights it up nicely.
Great purchase even tho the lights were a bit larger than I expected. Still loved the overall bathroom remodel.
Looks more expensive than it is. I need better bulbs but it is dimmable and beautiful . Looks great with but doesn’t match exactly delta champagne bronze
