Small and simple - exactly what I was looking for! I liked it enough that I bought a second.
Am used to fairly cheap knockoffs, especially with metal shade light fixtures. This product was better than expected. Metal shade is slightly thicker than other similar priced items, and paint job looks good with no visible dents/scratches throughout. Use case for this is either a foyer or small hallway. At about 12" it's not as large as the poorly superimposed pics on the product page, you can reference my hand as a size guide. The mounting section seems to be painted brushed nickel, which looks better than the product page pictures (as a contrast to the black shade.). How well this light looks ultimately depends on bulb choice. You HAVE to be using clear glass LED bulb with antique type filaments, A16-A19, G16-G19. Anything else would be too long and look pretty stupid given the wide opening and shallow depth.
This fixture is simple. Nothing exciting to it, it's round, it's small, and it's black on the outside. It's exactly what I was wanting for my office to replace the cheap looking faux canister light, so I could put in a smart bulb and control the temperature and brightness of the light. Installation was easy, although definitely make sure that if you are not entirely sure you know what you are doing to have a licensed electrician install it, as if installed improperly, just like any other electrical project, can cause fires. That said if you know what you are doing with electrical work, there's nothing fancy here in terms of complexity, it's black, white, and ground.
The quality was great! I was a bit worried about not being able to find a bulb but it was mo problem. Home depot has them. They have to be the narrow long bulb in order for it to fit. We put the light in the hallway and it lights it up nicely.
Great purchase even tho the lights were a bit larger than I expected. Still loved the overall bathroom remodel.
Looks more expensive than it is. I need better bulbs but it is dimmable and beautiful . Looks great with but doesn’t match exactly delta champagne bronze
