Cheap. But it looks nice enough my suggestion is to take the Metal mounting strap and use it as a nut for small rod that comes through the housing (threads matched on mine) and orient it vertically. This way the load of the lamp is spread over the strap. Otherwise you will bend the housing. Guaranteed.

My husband had to have this and we just love it, definitly recommend it.

Really a cute light. We used it over our "marquee" chalkboard by our home theater. Love the classic with a hint of industrial look that it has. I saw similar lights at Pottery Barn and RH for much bigger prices.

These lights are perfect above the queen sized bed in our tiny home. They are used as Sconces up in the loft bedroom and they give just the right amount of light, not to bright, not to dim. I'd recommend them. If you need a little more light, just switch the bulb. You can see how we used them on our Youtube channel, under Alpine Tiny Homes.

I purchased two of these lights for our stairway. Quality appears to be good but I had to return because the color did not work. I should have read the description better, these were black and I needed bronze.

I simply love the modern vive. It took me a while to get it installed but installation only took minutes. I bought it in 2016.

Perfect size, we love them as bedroom sconces. We put a toggle switch in the face plates for manual use. Would buy them again!

I am in love with our new lights. I read reviews carefully and saw some mention of wobbliness, but my electrician installed for me and he made it work.

They lamps are look like they'd be attractive but they arrived without any instructions on how to assemble.

Shipped great, were easy to install and look good. You do need to look for a specific bulb rather than just buying any one off of the shelf - but that was relatively easy to find at Lowe's. I'd buy these again in a minute. Looking at their other options for the main pendant light in my office as well.

Smaller than I imagined it to be, and doesn't look good where I expected to put it, so I am re-purposing. But it's quality and easy to install.

Looks great but dont expect to be adjusting this too much. They adjust at an awkward angle. Still, they are an atractive lighting fixture and I have had no issues with them.

Very nice and well made light. My townhouse has an industrial black, white and grey theme so this light looked very nice on a grey wall. I hated having to hire an electrician to install it but unfortunately, we have a very long dark dividing hallway without light. I wouldn't bother except that's where our thermostat is located and I can't read it w/o hunting down a flashlight first (I need to replace the thermostat one day as well). Because we have popcorn ceiling, it was easier (and cheaper) to install it on the wall.Love the look.

Very nice wall lamp, it has a nice retro vibe to it, perfect for my eclectic man cave (part industrial, part automotive, part musical). You really need a slightly amber Edison bulb for the full effect, though (mine is on order), Assembles in minutes, I literally opened the box and assembled it at the kitchen table (see the pictures, and no, the cookies were not included).Quality - I was pleasantly surprised. The metal was higher-gauge throughout than I expected, the finish is very authentic. The inside of the shade is powder coated silver, so it will actually reflect light. Cheaper versions use thinner metal and would have the shade painted black on both sides.

Work and look good but the metal connecting the shaft to the base plate is very thin be careful. If in a place that could get knocked it could break easily.

Extremely impressed! Exactly what I was looking for. I'm currently waiting for the amber led bulbs. Cant wait to see how they look with the antique design of the light fixture. Installed in about 30 minutes. I put mine on a dimmer switch. The fixture installs either in the ceiling or on the wall. Materials and paint are of very high quality.

We hung this one in the corridor, and love the "cafe" rustic look it gives! The setup is very easy especially if you already have a light fixture at that place.The fact that this can be used straight or at an angle is quite unique and should provide for some flexibility of mounting areas.

Works great and looks really nice. The motion sensor is a little finicky at times but overall, it works as intended.

At first we were going to hang this in the second story hallway but for our space it came out a little too far into the hall. So we improvised and hung it on the bathroom ceiling (because the arm is able to swing). A perfect fit! Very cool, very industrial, exactly what we wanted.

Just what we needed and great quality

The finish on this light fixture is great, and is represented well in the stock photos. Best of all, this light is fully adjustable and can be positioned in almost any orientation. Installation is very straight forward; it also comes with directions for the little pieces. Wires are color coded. A tip for installation is that you may have to adjust the mounting screws so that the decorative screw covers that go on the front of the fixture are flush.

I bought this light through another online retailer and I think it's a good fixture for what "I" paid, which is much less than they are listed here on Amazon. I would like to point out a couple things: #1. The wiring, though insulated with a sleeve, is a much smaller gauge than we use in the USA, about like thermostat wiring. If I did anything to this fixture before I install it, it would be rewire it. As this is going in my cabin, will be more decorative than functional and will only be used a couple of weeks per year, I'm not concerned. If you will use it daily and/or have it on for long periods, I would definitely rewire it #2. The flange shown in the pictures at the top of the shade with the 3 set screws is not needed and is either decorative or meant to be used with a globe. It has absolutely no other function, as the set screws do not and will not touch the shade. I'll be installing mine without it. #3 I agree with a couple other reviews that say add a larger washer to the base when you add the rod. Not because the metal of the base is thin, it's not at at all, just the design adds a lot of weight to the base and could cause it to bend. #4 I also saw a few reviews stating the base is too small to cover junction box. Either the manufacturer has resolved this problem or reviewer has no business installing the fixture. My base is 4 5/8". Good luck

Very very easy to install. Very classy design. Used a 4wt LED Edison bulb. Installs like any other two wire light fixture with ground.

I was a bit hesitant to buy these as the price was low and I thought the quality might be lacking. They are fantastic!!! I looked in all of the high end lighting stores and big box retailers and could find nothing even close in terms of quality and value. Please be aware that there is no switch on the actual light so you will have to install one separately. I have two of these installed beside a bed with vintage light bulbs and everyone comments on how cool they look. I highly recommend.
