it adds a nice touch to my boring hallway. When installing, it’s best to have 2 people working on this: 1 to hold the light, and the other to connect the wiring. i learned that the hard way.

We installed this ourselves – we replaced a builder grade hallway light with this one. It is a 2 person job and it took about 2 hours. It would have taken less but we had a little difficulty fitting the fixture through the screws to fit flush against the ceiling – this step is done ‘blind’ and we struggled a little. But, once up, it looks great in the spot. We used 2 traditional 40 watt soft white frosted bulbs. There is plenty of light in the hallway coming from this fixture.

I had a weird ceiling situation I needed a flush light for and I thought this might be kinda funky. I’m not sure now whether I think it is cool… or dowdy… but, styling aside it’s a fine enough lamp. I will say, and I have put up a few, this was a difficult install. Prepare for frustration with getting it flush, while still being able to get the screws through.
