Super easy to install. The size is smaller than I anticipated, but put a good LED in and its perfect for a small bathroom/ laundry room
It is a very simple light feature. Unfortunately some of Edison bulbs on the market right now don't fit on the circunference.I think the look of the fixture would be complemented by those bulbs. I understand this is my personal preference but sometimes you get something that is different from what you see on the site.

Make sure you look at dimensions this is way smaller than i figured but it look quality. I had to purchase a ring to cover the standard size opening in the ceiling. So that's an extra cost

It can be but would not hang plumb. It would mount and project at same angle as ceiling.

Personally- i would say no because the bulb is exposed - my thinking is you need a light that has the bulb enclosed
